  • Overview



    Perform advanced level electrical troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and regular servicing industrial refrigeration equipment safely and in full compliance with company and legal requirements.





    • Attain and maintain all SOP execution and certifications.
    • Understand and adhere to all regulatory requirements for PSM and RMP.
    • Perform high level maintenance, repairs, servicing, and electrical troubleshooting of industrial refrigeration equipment without supervision.
    • Able to read and comprehend P&ID’s and schematics and apply to equipment and process.
    • Provide clear, professional explanation and coaching while training lower level staff.
    • Oversee work completed by lower level staff by providing guidance, knowledge and direction to maintain safety and compliance.
    • Escalate issues appropriately.
    • Successfully complete all required position relevant safety and compliance training.
    • Continual participation in the employer’s CA DMV Pull Notice Program.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.




    Continuous use of both hands; including grasping, pulling and pushing.  Sight, hearing,  lifting, standing, climbing stairways, walking and balancing both feet on even and uneven surfaces, bending, twisting, crawling, stooping, kneeling, reaching forward, reaching overhead, reaching below shoulder, wrist turning, neck turning. capable of working in hot and cold environments (working temperatures as hot as 100° to 105° F and as cold as -20° F to 32° F); must be able to work in a high noise area. Must be able to lift 75lbs.


    Additional Info



    • A minimum of five years of experience with maintenance, repairs and servicing of industrial refrigeration equipment without supervision. 
    • Experience at a higher technical and troubleshooting level is preferred.
    • CIRO certification from RETA Algebraic application in thermo-dynamics.
    • Basic Word and Excel, and email and calendar in Outlook.
    • A valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record and have own transportation with acceptable insurance.
    • Must be able to read and understand written information in English.
    • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
