TITLE: FRONT DESK/TECH SUPPORT
LOCATION: BAKERSFIELD, CA
COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $23.00 / HOUR
PURPOSE:
To represent Grimmway in a professional manner to all persons calling or visiting the location. Assist visitors, employees and support the MIS department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate incoming and interoffice calls daily.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the correct person.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby, conference room, and reception area.
- Schedule any impromptu meetings in the Mtn View Admin Conference Room as necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and manage kitchen supplies.
- Maintain copy room supplies, equipment, and order.
- Responsible for printing Grimmway Job Postings and pinning them in bulletin board in lunchroom.
- Assist with COVID-19 exposure notification procedures.
- Sort and coordinate the distribution of all packages (US Mail, FedEx, UPS, and others) to include scheduling FedEx shipments and online pickups.
- Assist with seasonal projects such as selling fair tickets, turkey distribution, employee gift distribution, and assist with coordinating potlucks.
- Responsible for submitting maintenance requests.
- Assist the MIS Administrative Assistant with ordering equipment and computer equipment inventory as well as the distribution/collection of ink toners and assist with fuel receipt tracking.
- Assist the Help Desk Manager with service tickets.
- Assist with Spanish/English translations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Ability to occasionally move about inside the office. Must be able to move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
