What you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in the supervision of personnel.
  • Prior experience in production agriculture with a high mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience and/or working knowledge of row crops.
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write, and communicate proficiently in English and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel 70% of work schedule, including spending nights and weekends away from the Bakersfield area.
  • Available to work weekends as needed.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, Plant Sciences, or another related field.
  • 2 years’ experience operating and maintaining farm equipment.
  • Highly organized, meticulous and possess good analytical skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and personnel. Ability to lead and manage people.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and projects to achieve expected business results.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
