Additional Info

What you will need:

  • Must have 1 year experience operating automated equipment, experience in Automation / Technical maintenance OR equivalent industrial automation education in lieu of experience.
  • Must have great mechanical skills.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical equipment documentation or verbal instructions normal to the trade.
  • Must have knowledge of simple math calculations required for the layout and installation of simple circuits for automation systems.
  • Must pass Lock out/tag out training.
  • Must pass Quality Control GMP testing.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand written information in English.
  • Must be able to work weekends Saturday and Sunday when required.
  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What will set you apart:

  • Familiarity with industrial / manufacturing automation environment.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Trainable in all aspects of safety as it pertains to the maintenance and repair of dangerous, and potentially dangerous machinery.
  • Able to determine the appropriate equipment necessary to do the job.
