What you will need:

• Five to seven years of mechanic experience.
• Skilled in all manner of machine/equipment repair, to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance or learn quickly for a wide variety of machinery or equipment.
• Ability to drain and replace fluids, grease parts, and adjust/replace parts such as starters, batteries, etc.
• Skilled at a variety of hand and power tools, meters, diagnostic tools, etc.
• Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling equipment/machinery; using hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
• Skilled at examining form and texture of parts to determine ware.
• Skilled in operating in a collaborative manner with a team attitude, while executing sound judgement and professionalism with farm managers and various farm personnel.
• Should have many of their own tools.  
• A valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record.
• Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical, and functional capacity exam.

What will set you apart:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Farm machinery/equipment experience.
