Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production/processing equipment as well as overall facility operation. At this level, the individual should be able to operate unsupervised, give direction, train and develop lower-level maintenance techs. What you will need:

  • Seven to ten years of proven experience in high level maintenance environments.
  • Ability to weld/solder various types of medals with a high degree of skill and efficiency. 
  • Skilled in all manner of machine/equipment operation, to include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/processing machines. 
  • Skilled at a variety of hand and power tools, electronic meters, material handling equipment, diagnostic tools, etc. 
  • Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
  • Knowledge of general plumbing and carpentry functions. 
  • Ability to fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. 
  • Able to utilize various hardware/software formats not only for day-to-day operation, but also able to gain a quick understanding of technology as it pertains to production and processing equipment. 
  • Skilled in operating in a collaborative manner with a team attitude, while executing sound judgement and professionalism with operations. 
  • Able to maintain Grimmway Farms confidential and proprietary information and operate with the highest ethics and integrity at all times. 
  • Ability to travel occasionally. 
  • Ability to read and understand written information in English.  
  • A a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record. 
  • Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor or AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.
