Additional Info

What you will need:

  • Five to seven years of experience in a production/processing environment.
  • Must have at minimum an entry level of welding/soldering knowledge and ability. 
  • Must be skilled in all manner of machine/equipment operation with an understanding of pneumatic, and hydraulic utilization. 
  • Skilled at a variety of hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment. 
  • Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools. 
  • Able to determine form, texture and wear and tear of most parts with calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments. 
  • Should have a working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry functions. 
  • Able to utilize various hardware/software formats not only for day-to-day operation, but also able to gain an understanding of technology as it pertains to production and processing equipment. 
  • Must have a collaborative and team-oriented attitude with an understanding and self- assessment knowledge of when to ask for help and/or direction. 
  • Ability to be flexible and operate under stressful situation while keeping a cool head and focus on overall goals and objectives. 
  • Must operate in an ethical manner with high integrity at all-times. 
  • Able to maintain Grimmway Farms confidential and proprietary information. 
  • Must be able to travel occasionally. 
  • Must be able to read and understand written information in English. 
  • Remote work not available for this position. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record. 
  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

  

 

What will set you apart:

  • AA degree or a combination of education and experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
