What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, required.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis with increasingly responsible experience, required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and GAAP, required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
• Ability to analyze financial data.
• Ability to identify/communicate issues as they arise.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Detail Oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate meaningful insights and analysis.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Previous Ag/Cost Accounting or Public Accounting experience a plus.
• Previous ERP software experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for accounting on crops as assigned: Forecasts, Journal Entries, Balance Analysis, Variance Analysis, and overall accountability to ensure accurate financial records.
• Seasonal Allocation entries.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insightful analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various Farming Personnel.
• Ability to share knowledge/information at different levels in the organization.
• Support/Implement accounting objectives, while being able to identify process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to occasionally move about inside the office. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. 

Total Rewards:            $80,000 - $95,000 / YEAR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
