About the Opportunity: 

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator Trainee responsible to operate automated packaging equipment to maintain optimal productivity and efficiency. Adjust and troubleshoot equipment. Report equipment malfunctions to the automation staff. Clean packaging equipment as directed. What You Will Need:

• General computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows), required.
• Ability to add, subtract and multiply whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, required.
• Must understand and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Must Pass Quality Control GMP testing.
• Must be able to read and understand in written and oral form in all applicable operating maintenance Food Safety procedures and training such as Safety Rules, Lockout/Tagout, use of Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E).
• Must be able to work overtime or Saturdays depending on business need.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What Will Set You Apart:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Basic math skill, preferred.

Starting Wage:                         $20.00 / HOUR
