PURPOSE:   The Maintenance Tech C is considered entry level maintenance with a mechanical aptitude and ability to learn general maintenance at an excelled ability. This position conducts routine general/preventive maintenance such as line lubrications, adjustments, minor repair/replacement of worn belts, parts, or motors. TITLE:                     ORGANIC CLASS A DRIVER LOCATION:             LAMONT, CA COMPENSATION:  $19.50 / HOUR   PURPOSE:   Transport product, packaging materials, ice, and related supplies from harvesting sites to packing sheds and vice versa.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   Shuttle trailers from harvesting site to packing shed and back. Transport packaging materials, ice and other supplies as assigned safely to various field sites. Load trailers and/or Bobtail truck manually with product and follow all safety rules in-house and on public roads. Assist with general farm harvest and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Must be able and willing to travel out of town for extended periods. Perform light secretarial work. TITLE:                     FIELD FOOD SAFETY COMPLIANCE SUPERVISOR LOCATION:             LAMONT, CA COMPENSATION:  $66,560 / YEAR   PURPOSE:    To ensure that the company’s food safety programs are compliant with all relevant auditing requirements including the Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement, GFSI audit scheme, and Produce Safety Rule. PURPOSE:   To safely and efficiently operate a harvesting machine in the Organic Harvesting area.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   - Transport product, packaging materials, ice, portable restrooms, portable water and other items as assigned safely to various field sites. - Operate machines safely and effectively. - Maintain equipment and work area clean. - Wash and clean tractors and harvest equipment. - Check tractors and trailers for damage, tear and wear and report findings to the supervisor. - Complete necessary paper work as required. - Assist as the Harvest Support Driver when needed. - Practice and enforce company safety policies and procedures, including public road rules. - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   Ability to frequently move about in the farming fields. Ability to continuously work with product and equipment at ground level and uneven surfaces. Ability to work on uneven terrain both on foot and while aboard moving equipment. Ability to get on and off various stationary and moving equipment. Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

PURPOSE:   This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide variety of vehicles and farm machinery/equipment. Due to the variety of equipment/machinery this position must have a strong mechanical aptitude. At this level, this position should have a strong understanding for most all equipment/machinery.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   - Operate as a highly skilled mechanic with little to no training/direction needed to perform duties. - Ensures operation of equipment/machinery by providing preventive maintenance procedures. - Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment for day-to-day operation as well as at peak times during planting or harvest windows. - Must maintain a mindset of controlling downtime in-order for the agriculture team to meet its goals and objectives. - Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening/looking for problems, and utilization of various measuring and testing instruments. - Read and interpret equipment manuals in-order to diagnose and repair or recommend to third-party providers. - Assist in maintaining the correct level of supplies, parts and tools for the shop. - Delivery of new or repaired equipment as needed. - Maintains a safe and clean work environment throughout the shop, and while completing work in the fields. - Ensuring that fluids and parts are disposed of properly. - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   Ability to occasionally move about inside the office, shop and/or farming fields. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Operating hand and power tools, working on equipment that is elevated or low to the ground. Ability to inspect equipment. Ability to work on uneven terrain. Work in a wet and damp environment. Ability to continuously work outdoors and/or outdoors all day in various and sometimes extreme weather conditions. Must be able to work in different temperatures (working temperatures as hot as 100° to 110° F and as cold as 20° F to 32° F). Must be able to move items weighing up to 70 lbs.
